About Nexus Medical Labs

The lab built around the way you work

Nexus Medical Labs is a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited clinical laboratory that designs, develops, and performs custom testing tailored to each client's needs. We partner with digital health and home-health companies, specialty clinics, and research organizations that need testing built around their workflows instead of a fixed test menu.

Built to fit the way you work

Most labs hand every client the same menu and the same queue. Nexus was built the other way around. We start with what you need to measure, shape the testing and the workflow to fit, and run it with speed and rigor. Digital health brands, specialty clinics, and research teams each get a lab designed around how they actually operate.

Our role is the laboratory work. We receive specimens, accession and test them, manage quality, and report results. Where a program uses home-collected specimens, the collection kits and their assembly, labeling, fulfillment, and shipping are handled by qualified third parties. Nexus performs the testing on the specimens the laboratory receives.

We are not a consumer brand. We are the lab behind the platforms, clinics, and research teams that are.

Who is Nexus built for?

We work with organizations that depend on diagnostic data to move their work forward: digital health and home-health brands, specialty clinics, and research teams. Whether you are a CRO running multi-site trials, a clinic that wants a lab program built around your practice, or a healthtech team scaling a new product, Nexus builds the testing, compliance, and support you need.

Digital & home-health brands

The lab behind your product. We run your testing fast and return white-labeled results into your platform by API or SFTP, with reliable timelines and low rejection rates as you scale.

Specialty clinics

A lab program that adapts to your practice, not the other way around. Custom panels, turnarounds your patients notice, and a real person who knows your account when you call.

Research teams

Custom assay development, end to run. Bring us a target and we design, validate, and run the assay, and act as an extension of your team.

Why teams choose Nexus

We don't slow you down.

How we support you

We give health companies, clinics, and research teams clinical-grade testing without building their own lab or adding operational drag.

  • Build and run custom panels for your program, from routine chemistry to specialty testing.
  • Test the specimens you send us, including home-collected specimens gathered through your own or a third-party collection program.
  • Absorb overflow when your in-house lab or reference lab is at capacity.
  • Return structured results by API, SFTP, or EHR integration, white-labeled where you need it.
  • Validate and run decentralized studies at scale.

Compliance built in, not bolted on

We’re CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited, HIPAA and ISO 27001 compliant. Our validation process is transparent and our onboarding team is experienced with multi-state operations and procurement workflows. No delays, no surprises - just diagnostic compliance from day one.

What does Nexus do for digital & home-health brands?

Nexus performs laboratory testing on patient self-collected specimens received by the laboratory and returns white-labeled test results through API, SFTP, or EHR integration.

Can Nexus build a custom lab program for a clinic?

Yes. Nexus works with healthcare providers to develop customized laboratory service programs tailored to their clinical and operational needs. Services may include customized test menus, laboratory workflow integration, electronic ordering and reporting, billing support, and coordination of specimen transport through established customer or third-party logistics arrangements, as applicable. We work with each client to design a laboratory solution that integrates with existing clinical workflows while providing scalable, high-quality laboratory testing services.

Does Nexus do custom assay development?

Yes. Nexus provides custom assay development, analytical validation, and laboratory testing services to support research, clinical, and diagnostic programs. Our scientific team develops, validates, and performs assays within our CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory using established platforms, including ELISA and qPCR, in accordance with applicable laboratory quality requirements.

How do you get started with Nexus?

Getting started takes three steps: a short scoping call, a custom program design, and go-live.

Step 1

Tell us what you need.

A short call to configure your panels, and we take it from there.
